A native to Colorado, Mrs. Nemeth was born in Denver and grew up in Thornton; she attended Adams 12 Five Star Schools for elementary, middle, and high school. At the University of Colorado at Boulder, Mrs. Nemeth graduated with a Bachelor's in English Literature and also a Secondary Education Licensure in 2007. According to the No Child Left Behind Act, she is highly qualified to teach English Language Arts. In August of 2009 she married her soul mate, Douglas, on top of Lookout Mountain. She graduated with a Master's degree in Administration and Supervision and earned her Principal licensure in 2016. Finally, on January 2nd of 2017, Mrs. Nemeth and her husband welcomed their first child, Barclay, into the world!
Mrs. Nemeth has a strong passion for public education, and wants to continue to improve it for years to come. She is an elected member of the Colorado Fund for Children and Public Education.
When she is not wrangling their one-year old, you can find her watching sci-fi movies, reading a good Michael Crighton novel, or singing to her cat.
The 2018-2019 schoolyear marks Mrs. Nemeth's eleventh year of teaching!
